About us

Welcome to NCW.

New College Worcester is a national residential school and college for young people aged 11 to 19 who are blind or vision impaired.

Every student at NCW has a tailored programme, carefully planned and delivered to meet their individual needs in three key areas; academic achievement, independent living skills and involvement in extracurricular activities at the College and in the community.

The opportunities provided to students in these three areas of provision play a crucial role in the development of confidence and self-esteem and preparation for life beyond our College.

The school fees paid by parents or by local authorities cover the costs of educating and caring for the children. They don’t cover improvements to school buildings, unexpected repairs, the costs of college vehicles and a whole range of other costs we face every year to be able to give the young people at NCW the very best education and the very best experiences. We are always very grateful to receive any donation that will help us to provide equipment, resources, and opportunities for our students.

Our fundraising team work with supporters across the world to help us raise money to cover all the costs of running a 21st century school and to provide the extras that any child with a vision impairment deserves.

Thank you for your support and good luck!

Yours sincerely,

The Fundraising Team at NCW
